The Xtreamer e-Trayz NAS
Xtreamer have posted information on their upcoming e-TRAYz device in their forum. This device at first glance appears to include the standard features you would expect in a typical NAS and features a pretty low price tag for a two bay NAS!
Initially you will need to own one of their media streamer devices to order one of these babies. Also one bit of information for NAS-Central readers from the FAQ:
“Q. Will the eTRAYz be based on open source ?
A. No. The community will not be able to write code to this product nor it will be released.”
Thanks engadget.

The QNAP TS-219P
QNAP have a new Kirkwood based NAS device available – the TS-219P. This features the new 1.2 Ghz Marvell Kirkwood processor, 512 MB RAM and QNAPs new AJAX GUI and promises to be significantly faster than the older, slower Orion based models.
QNAPs products previously came with one of the best manufacturer supplied firmwares for home NAS devices and have good build quality but usually come out a bit more expensive than competing products. Read the review over at The Register and check out the TS-219P product page to see if they are keeping their standards high!
Update: For the curious pictures of the disassembly and internals of the TS-219P and the TS-219 are up at the Debian section of Martin Michlmayrs site.
