The fan control script now works on both the N1200 and the N2100. Also the post-install section for Gentoo for N1200 was updated – be sure to perform the additional step if you have not already.

A community N1200 fan control script is now available – this is based on the existing N2100 fan control script. If you have installed either Gentoo or Ubuntu for your N1200 be sure to add this to your distribution!

Installation media and how to guides are now available for installing Ubuntu 8.10 and Gentoo 2008.0 onto the Thecus N1200. These guides are fresh and need testing and possibly updating. Ubuntu guide is available at the Thecus wiki here and Gentoo guide is available here – enjoy N1200 users!
