Experimental Debian For Orion QNAP Devices

timtim | May 11, 2008

An experimental Debian installer release(s) for QNAP TS-x09 series is available now – see this Debian mailing list for more information!

Debian GNU/Linux is a community made (since 1993) operating system plus thousands of high quality packages to use with it. It can be used to replace the whole software on a NAS device.

Note: These releases are currently very experimental and require soldering (for serial port) at the moment. You can find the files for TS-109 & TS-209 here and TS-409 here. Official Debian installer beta3 will be the first release targeted at end users.
